I bought this car literally about 1 week ago with the intentions of keeping it forever and driving it till it dies. However 3 days after buying it i found the car of my dreams and now i need the money back to buy it. I bought this car from the original owners son who is 45 years old. The car has been garaged all of its life and has a long history of maintanance records to go along with it. I havent even had the chance to read them all but off the top of my head i can list a few things. Bilstein HD's, timing belt at 100k, plugs&wires, control arms and A arms with all needed bearing or bushings, gas tank and lines, brakes, and a bunch of other things that i just can recall. The car drives mint and runs even better. The paint on the entire body shines awesome with the exception of a couple small common rust spots. Behind the drivers side front wheel is just starting to bubble along with the lower part of the rear bumper near the exhaust. The engine area is very clean as well as all wheels are in great shape. It has tan interior with no rips or crack on anythings. The tires are about 75%. Suprisingly the front bumper and hood have very few little stone chips, which for such an old car is good.

I have seen for sale recently, but based on the rear view around the muffler, I would have to say I would be a little worried about more rust. But definitely worth a look for the right price.

your not going to find too many ixii with no rust period. remember these were extensively in snowy areas, so rust is going to happen. as long as it's not widespread and surface, not a huge deal, but obviously price should reflect.
