I was told that I may be able to program the following options myself on my 2000 323i:
1. Parking lights flash when doors locked/unlocked by remote.
2. Auto door lock at 5 mp/h.

Is this possible without going to the dealer?

im not aware that you can do that yourself unless you have access to a modic and can hook into the car's computer.... if your dealer is cool, they should do it for you for free...

I just had my lights programmed to flash(thanks fredo) and it was free. No big deal. I takes like 5 minutes.
