PRICE DROP!!!
Losing my storgae location will to let the car go as is for $7,500 w/ everything! $7,000 without BBS's. A friend of mine is interested in the BBS's, and in about a weeks time from now which is 5/15/08 I'll prob sell them to him.
LETS MOVE THIS THING!!!
It sadens me to have ot sell this car. I have owned this car for about 5 years. After I got the acr I started doing research and I really got into the limited BMW MOTORSPORT parts that had been available over the years. So I just started adding whatever I could get my hands on. So now about the car.
It's a 1997 328is. Schwarz II. Originally it came w/ a luxury style black leather power interior. I put together peice by peice the much sought after Alcantara vader interior. Not to be confused w/ the LTW or M-technic interior. The vader seats are the newer style w/ the larger headrests. They are power and I would give them a 9 out of 10. The rears are in great shape as well w/ one tiny hole in the back seat that is almost completely unnoticable. The door cards match as well, but they need to be fixed. TO fix them you would need to get black coupe door cards that aren't peeling, and then put the cloth centers into the new paenls. Also I would recomend removing the cloth from the panels and then re-gluing to the center section of the door card before reattaching the centers to the new cards. I also bought from the dealer brand the brand new red MOTORSPORT belts. OEM alcantara shifter boots are from the e46 zhp. Car also has the OEM BMW analog phone. I have never seen another one in person. It came w/ my car and thought it was cool so I never reomved it. It stil lfunctions 100% but it is impossible to get service for it. However it can still be used to make 911 emergency calls which I have done before. Did a complete black headliner swap from a 95 m3 w/ no tears or cig burns. The car was never smoked in. LAmost forgot. I also bought from the dealer brand new OEM CF center console and glove trim, but somone stole the glove trim at a local meet. GRRRRR!
Now for exterior. Following my MOTORSPORT theme I instaled the OEM MOTORSPORT handles which came on M-technic's and also available on the M3 Gt's accross the pond. HAs an OEM M3 body kit minus the sideskirts, but the front bumper, rear, and mirros are there. Also has an original M3 wing w/ third brake light. Non-arched. Red-clear tails (non oem), lightly smoked front corners and side markers. As of now the car has the stock headlights, but I do have the zkw's still. They need new lenses and I might fix and sell them seperatly w/ the hid's. I also took out the hids ouf of the fogs. I had to have the whole car repainted because when i was at work every panel was keyed. It was roughly a $5,500 paint job that the insurance coverd, and I bought new rubebr seals for the windows and sunroof. I was lucky enough to come accross a set of OEM BBS RC041's which came stock on all 94 M-technics. I had them taken apart polished and had the centers powdercoated a dark silver. Honestly they need to be re-done again. This time I owuld replace all the bolts and possibly chrome the lips so they don't tarnish as quickly. the centers were powdercoated, and I woudl have them done again as well because I think the powdercoat is alittle think as it is hard to get the center caps off. I do not have original BBS caps, a budy of mine made the decals and they aren't the greatest.
Mechanical and misc. The engine is mostly stock. has roughly 150k on it. Has an Autothority intake and exhaust as wel las tunning chip on the car. The exahust is really jsut a triflow w/ their brand stamp on it. They are a repudible Porsche tunning company in VA. I have recently replaced the water pump, radiator, thermostat/ aluminum thermostat housing, hoses, coolant flush, valve cover gasket, and oilpan gasket. Ther is an oil leak somewhere but I can't pinpoint it. Engien is strong and runs pretty well. I had the car converted to a manual a few years agao as well. It's a getrag tranny from a 325 that only had 15k on it. The only thing that was nt done was to make the reverse lights work. Which can be done, I just never ordered the little parts and got around to it. Also has a .315 LSD that had 48k on it from a 95 M3. I replaced the springs and front struts recently as well. The springs are bavauto sprts springs, and the struts are Bilstein sports. The rear shocks need to be replaced. I also put brand new M3 control arms on when I did the springs. They have about 3k on them or so.
Thats all I can think of for now. If you have any questions let me know and I'l lanser them to the best of my ability.
Here is a list of what needs attention/replaced

plugs for the foglights
