Does anyone know where I can get a replacement bulb for the Inpro Angel eye kit for an e36? The bulb lights up one ring. I would actually like a replacement bulb that matches the HIDs on the car. The bulb is a 6w 12v and has pins set at 150 degrees.

Any idea where I can find them?

I found the replacement bulb part # which is H6W 68161 and seems to cost around $7.95. I'll check out Radio Shack tonight.

You cant with inpro. He would have to get a new healight then new angel eyes. The Angel eyes are built into the lens. I guess he could get new lenses and then new angel eyes but that is a lot of work

I'm not going to buy new headlamps and angel eyes for just a bulb out.

These come with the rings already built into the lamp housing. I'll try to get some pics tomorrow. I did not have the change to stop by Radio Shack after work tonight. I did stop at Advanced Auto Parts, which had the part number for the bulb but not any blue color bulbs.

So no one has replaced the halogen bulbs with blue tinted ones in these angel eyes?

dude i am telling you just do with i did! You will not regret it. i dont think those bulbs put out enough power to make the rings look good anyway. Just my 2 cents

lol

hey mike :wave
I'm going to do some research tonight to see if I can find brighter bulbs too.
Don't get me wrong, I like the OEM look of the dim ones, but a change every now and then is good!

They do not put enough power to the rings so right. They are bright at night but during the day you can just barely tell that they are on. It would be nice if I could find an LED bulb to retro fit into the rings.

Do you have a close up of the rings on your e36?

lol

Can you show me what you did to get that good visibility on the rings ?
I have In Pro angeleyes to and you can't tell if they are ON or OFF when it's daytime.

the bulbs may also be classified as a Ba9, not 100% sure though, http://autolumination.com/otherleds.htm has some bulbs similar to the one pictured

Hehe. I'm from Norway so I'm actually not sure I understood. Thin line ? What is that ? Is it like the thin line rings you can buy at Umnitza that you place behind the original ring ? Or what is it ?
