Long Story short: I boguht this car to do a manual transmission swap. Now im realizing I dont have the time for it...I just want it out of my driveway now. Selling it for $1280. I paid more than this.. so my loss is your gain. Oh and miles on the motor is 130k.

Its a 1990 325i red/tan leather. It currently had a blown auto trans (I bought it with a working auto tranny :( . Unfortunately, it blew yesterday). Someone on craigslist is selling the auto transmission for $180. This is perfect for someone looking to do a manual swap or who can swap the auto trans easily. before the tranny blew, it ran perfect. it still starts right up and reverse works lol.
new spark plugs,new tires, new brakes. this could be a great deal for someone. Cosmetically, its good for its age. just one dent on the hood.
interior is MINT..
Also has an aftermarket CD player worth $200


Swapping transmissions is too much work for me. I dont have a lift, nor the proper tools. I am just not up for it.


Also, if this price seems unfair (considering the tranny is blown), please let me know. I just thought it was a decent price to let it go considering i spent a bit over $2k on it.

UPDATE: TRANNY MIGHT NOT BE BLOWN!!!! MY friend took a look at it and told me the transmission lines may have sprung a leak. I will try pouring in some ATF tomorrow to see if it moves. Hopefully it is just the lines********

the lines are leaking. When i poured in ATF, the car moves a bit, but it flows right out. I think it just needs new lines.

you start out saying you bought it to do a transmission swap, but then you say you don't have the tools or ability to swap the tranny. whats up with that?

well ideally i was going to drive it aorund untill I located the parts for cheap. I was going to give it a shot with one of my friends. But it seems harder than I anticipated. Apparently, you need a lift and might even have to remove the engine. I dont think I would be able to handle it.
