Doubt it . . . he 'lost' my number ;).

I'll PM you my number again. I probably wont be in the Portland area until the weekend of the 25th of this month. You're welcome to bring it down to Corvallis if you want. I have my main garage here with all my tools. From what you described on the phone is sounds just like my secondard timing tensioner. I'd spend the 140 bucks replacing that before I dropped 700-800 on a Vanos. Autohaus Bayern in Beaverton quoted me 600 to do the secondary timing unit which is why I decided to dive into this engine myself the first time.

Just look around the forum...are you doing it on your e36?

bimmerdiy.com
^where i got the basic down...then i talked to local members for tips. Thne theres DIY in the lighting section....

In the DIY it says to silicone them in. In my depos theres a little groove in front of both lights that holds them in perfect and i didnt drill any holes in mine like it says.

Thanks jon again for the help. :buttrock

If I am in town I would be. I have a large garage with plenty of room if the weather is nasty

I've swapped so many elements, bulbs, ballasts, done retrofits, etc with ZKW's, and E36's that I know them like the back of my hand - I drink beer and smoke the hippie grass but I don't really require either of them to work lol.

I live up north kinda so... if you can't get anyone else to do it as soon as I can find a few more parts for my car so I can get it ... MOVING... again I'll swing by, let me know by next week, still waiting on a few people to get back to me.
