i would agree with your nub ass if you said that all angle eyes are lame but if your inferring that fat sausage fingers are better you need :help

yes i concur...i still rock them...but they are overrated

I agree, but I think thinlines>all other DDE styles by far. They are a lot cleaner and don't looks as dumb when they are turned off compared to the ones with the cheap looking plastic diffuser covers.

I have the chromiums now. They are bigger/uglyer, and one set already crapped on me.

My next ones will be the thinlines :)

Just ordered my DEPO's from Habbie with Thinlines. I am like alot of people on this board who are not the hugest fans of AE's on an E36. I do like the thinlines though on alot of cars I have seen them on, so will be plugging in my thinlines for the time being.

where can I find thinlines? can you install them to just one light? I just want them on my "demon eyes" lights. the two Inner lights.

not sure what diameter your bulb housing are but im sure there are thin lines that you can retrofit into them. might take some ingenuity but im sure yo can do it

you know you can just take the shrouds off the chromiums and they are thinlines....

I'm pretty sure 30K was a typo, it probably would be something like dark blue/black and completely useless for lighting the road.

I'm assuming he meant 3k....

30K is like, straight up purple. Looks horrible IMO. Can't imagine there's any useful light being put on the road.

Shit man, that's not a lot of bugs. Black cars attract bugs. I have the detail my car every day to keep it looking remotely like that picture. In fact, as I recall, there was a nice coating of pollen on my car (I had washed it the night before, picture was taken in the morning) so I had to wash her again. This state really sucks! Like, ever see a horse fly hit your nosepanel at 95mph? Its not pretty man, I assure you. :mad And to think, we worry about certain rags giving the car micro scratches? Those big bugs from hell will seriously fuck your ride's freshly detailed exterior! :lol

Nah, I don't need to post specs of my car. It's just a little ol' 325. But that's all I need. Most of my upgrades are for show, few performance. When I spend money on upgrades...I make sure they're actually upgrades lol.

what you dont know is that is was a huge upgrade over what i previously had and it was about the same price plus i got shrouds/hids/thin lines and fabricated my hood....i think i mentioned that already. i can also buy proper bulbs for like 30bucks.

Take the casing apart. The chromiums are a facade and a backing. Take them apart and the "thinline" is inside. You just have to be real delicate otherwise the isht breaks.

Ohh, makes perfect sense. Thank you, I was almost to this point but you did it for me: I realized every frickin' angel eye is the same. Well not the cheap ebay or LED, but the ones we all see are. when will people realize that your not always paying $$ for quality.

You're not just paying for quality. You're paying for R&D interest, service, shipping, transaction fees, and warranty.

It just depends on how much the distributor believes in their product and their commitment to providing a quality long lasting product.

Take ebay AEs or generics for example. Sell them at a low cost with no warranty on them working or not. If they don't work, then you keep paying out the nose for replacements till you hit the luck of the draw were you have a fully functioning set.

OR

You pay right the first time and you're guaranteed a set that will last and your parts are warranted.

It all depends on what the distributor costs are for a product and what makes that product and service from any other. Then there is the consumer value of the said product and how much they care about what is offered and you go from there.
