I'm deciding to get my windows tinted and I think I am going to go with 20% or 25% but I'm not sure yet.

What do you all have? How is the visibility and what do you recommend?

i think mine is 15% (IIRC).... it works perfectly..not too dark not too light... 20% would probably do the trick.

20 FTW....its perfect...dark in the day and light enough at night you can see cars when backing up.

Great service, took it down there and had them work on it. Took about two hours, and was under $200. The tint used was very durable, no issues with it at all while I had the car. Maybe 4-5yrs.

You aren't gonna get an idea of what tint looks like without seeing it in person, I've looked all over and you just can't tell from pictures

35 I think is the legal limit on the front driver and passenger door. Its usually a fix it ticket but almost all the members on here have 20 all around

My dads a stickler for being legal and has 35 on the front driver and passenger doors and 20 all around the rear in our expedition.

Front windshield tint is illegal from what i know.

i got my e32 done there but i went with 15% all around with 5% strip in the front. they did a great job on it. im very pleased. kinda expensive but it is in the area. i like the 15% alot. its not hard at all to see at night and the front strip helps.

I used to have 20%.... then the law started cracking down on it. So I just removed it all together. Not worth the trouble of court and fines and all that crap. If I do get it again, it'll be legal. 35% ain't too bad anyways.

I think I will go 30% on my alpinewhite so it's just barely darker than legal. although 20% is the perfect shade imo, I don't think it will go well with white and chrome trim.

legal limit for washington is 35% :) with a 7% margine of error so you can do 30 on the front windows (driver/passanger) and the rest 5% plus the windshield 6".... mine...... don't ask :)

Dark tint on black cars or bigger cars like that ^^look really good IMO. The alpines you can usually go lighter and it will look darker because of the car...lighter cars look like darker tint.

Dark tint does clean up the look of the car really well.
