I was wondering if there was any DIY's about opening my fog light lenses? I couldn't find one searching.

The passenger side shield thing inside the lens is rattling around and i want to either get them both fixed, or take them both out before i put my HID's in.

you remove the shield by removing the backside frame. There's no reason to split the lens from the frame.

kk, i'll get you a pic. What type of fog light is this BTW? Hella, ZKW, or replica?

Ok, I cannot remember how many points there are on the Hella.

ZKW backside is held in by clips
Hella is held in by plastic rivets (4 or 3) that need to be drilled out

I can't show you what it looks like removed. Unfortunately all I have are brand new fogs laying around and I wont sacrifice one.

it's just the stock one.

It looks like the ZKW/hella, but it's not budging.

They're sealed too with a glue. You'll just have to try harder I think.

I know the hella's I did it on took a little omph

well i tried heating it with a hairdryer today, and it still would not budge!

I got frustrated and ordered crystal fogs from bavtoys.com, only $40 for the pair!
