Finally got my production number after a couple months of waiting. I was starting to get a little worried that I wouldn't get a production number assigned early enough to get all the Euro Delivery bits worked out. Looks like it will all fall into place pretty easily from here out though.

Can't wait till July! :redspot

I tend to like to buy cars slightly used, but the euro delivery really looks like a fun thing to do. Let us know how it works out.

Same here, usually the 2+ year mark is good. The Euro delivery is probably the only way I would ever buy a new BMW.

I still haven't had a chance to drive the 135i, I drove the 335i and really liked it. 135i seems like a fun car

So jealous! I've become really obsessed with the 135i lately. Congrats on your order (but we'd better see some pictures once she's delivered).

Yeah, I wouldn't have purchased a new BMW outside of the Euro Delivery program either. My wife and I were planning a European vacation for this summer and I managed to work the car into the discussion. Using Lufthansa's 2-for-1 airfare promotion with European Delivery will save us some money on plane tickets to get there. We'll also save a bit on travel costs since we'll have our own transportation while we're there. And the 7% discount off the US MSRP will cover some of the initial depreciation hit of buying a new car.

I'll take plenty of pics once I get the car, and I'll try to make it out to a meet for everyone to see sometime. :)

Maybe you can take that saved 7% and buy lunch with the euro :dunno.

Drove out to Andechs Monastery for dinner and beer tonight and hit a few "unrestricted" sections of Autobahn on the way. Car is amazing... :D

Enjoy it. My best summer was in Germany. Munich is possibly the coolest place to be there.

Had I had my 540, all would've been perfect.
