Hi,

I've just changed my front brake pads, discs and sensor, however the warning light on the dashboard remains on.

Just to let you know that he warning light was not on before i changed the pads but know it won't go off.

Any ideas?

Cheers

try this, put the key on position 2 for 10 secs then turn to off position. If that doesn't work. Inspect sensor, may have become loose.

I've inspected the sensor and it's correctly fitted, also i've left the sensor out but the light still remains on, is this normal?

Is it possible that the sensor is causing the light to remain on?

ya even if the sensor is off the computer would pick that up and give you the light. Could be a busted sensor.

Now you said sensor, non plural did you check both sensor? There is one in front and one in the rear.

As i've only changed the front sensor, surely this would not effect the back one, would it?

No, but there could be a chance that your rear brakes are close to its end of life. So check your rear brakes and sensor.

Just a quick thought, you don't need to re-program through the computer do you?

no re-programing anything. If the sensor is bad in the rear it will throw a code, and you will continue to have the light on until the sensor is replaced.
