haha I read that about 5 times over laughing to myself. This person obviously doesnt have a clue and I wonder what he drives. where did he post this?

The only thing to discuss is where you got this so we can go educate this fool in the REAL reason the car looks the way it does. The ONLY things not 'correct' on that car are wiper blades, fogs and the hood. Everything else is period correct for an e30 M3 (ie the CCA grill thingy).

If this thread takes off, I might be more interested in visiting.

I think in order for it to take off we need the person that MADE that comment to come in here and try to defend it. And that should be entertaining considering that we KNOW that was how the cars came from the factory, not some ricer wide body kit. But I guess that's the misguided views you get from people that start off in the car world by playing with Honda's and move on to e36 and e46 cars without ever bothering to learn about the roots of the Motorsport divsion. I shudder to think what that person would say about the 3.0 and 3.5 CSL (road and race versions) and the Groupe 5 e21's.

Hmmm thats funny, $20 says its a troll. Why are so many people getting banned lately? I see people with "License Suspended" under their names in almost every thread now, earlier today I saw a thread with three temp banned people in a row in it.

If we want to be nitpicky, the clear turn signals shouldn't be there either. Nor should the Sport Evo wing, or the Evo I / Ceccotto valence.

that kit is fine.....you just need some wheels with some serious lip!

Those are smoked signals up front, I've got them on mine, but yes, technically out of place. And pretty sure that is the Evo II front valence extension, but it has been a while since I studied up on my e30 M3 parts (been playing too much with the e21). That car looks to be either an '88 or '89, so yes, the extra spoilers are TECHNICALLY out of place. Not sure about the tow hook covers and brake ducts, never found any good info on when they started being used.

....but I was just going for the obvious things that stand out to the non-trained eye. ;)
