Wired a HID kit to my car (was plug 'n' play) which works ok, But noticed when I took out for a test drive that the cluster lights (speedo, rev counter ect) was not working.
So I looked at the fuses and found that 10amp fuse had blown (circled blue).
Well changed it and as soon as I turn to the side lights it blew again.
Then I remembered that I didn't change the headlight fuses to 15amp, so I did that and put a new 10amp fuse in.
Worked ok, then while I was checking my light inlinement, the fuse melted and two of my head light wirers had melted together causing a bit of smoke, so turned it all off pulled the melted fuse out and replaced it with 10amps again, checked all the light wires and re-did the two that had melted, pulled the two 15amp fuses out and put the 7.5amps back in (circled red).
Turned lights back on to see if all was ok and the fuse blew, tried changing it to 15, 20 and 7.5amps but always blew.:banghead:
Any thoughts on what I mite have done wrong or what I can do/try next :help
Thanks
