all nice cars.

blackened... i am looking for 96 and up

sexytime.. i like the car alot but the title situation concerned me. as well as any potential damage to the unibody from the control arms getting bent up. can you comment on this further?

4life... looking for a car thats a little less DD... will keep in mind as i look

not interested in sedans, but that is a sweet ride.

the control arms were replaced with new parts, no damage to the rest of the car. the car was stolen which is what led to the salvaged title which was then converted to rebuilt title. the car runs perfectly and i'll see about getting a ppi for you if you wish. i have someone looking at it this weekend so i'll most likely obtain it then

I'm also thinking about selling mine privately as CarMax, and even BMW dealerships here in So Cal, gave me quotes that would disgust anyone! :)

With that said, mine is:

1999 BMW M3 (E36) Coupe
Artic Silver Exterior
Dove Grey Interior
5 speed manual transmission (and replaced the worn-out lighted shift knob with brand new one)
160k+ miles
power everything (including seats)
sunroof, not moonroof
6 CD-changer in trunk

Minor mods: Have receipts

Ground Control Shims (along with replaced OEM Rear Trailing Arm Bushings)
JT-Designs Rear Shock Mounts
Odyssey Lightweight battery

Major mods: Have receipts

Brand new (aka Rebuilt) differential from Metric Mechanic with variable 3-discs instead of the stock 2 - Cost $1,500.

Just did a major Inspection II (replaced all fluids, and air filters). All service has been done by South Bay Independent BMW in Gardena, CA. Those who live in SoCal and know of this shop it is a top, reputable, and honest shop and they do excellent work.

Minor hole in driver's side seat (came with it when I bought), typical scrapes, scratches on wheels, and paint.

I'm the 3rd owner, looking to upgrade an E46 M3. I'm Los Angeles.

Asking price: $11k (obo, negotiable). CarMax offered me $4k and BMW Beverly Hills $6k. I laughed and walked out.

Have all maintenance records, no accidents, clean title and no liens and it's in my name. If interested PM me.

Carmax is a joke... they super lowball you so they can flip it and turn-in a big big profit. Good luck, and you're right - better to post it privately in CL, eBay, and the popular BMW forums if you want a quick sale.
