On my 740iL with 90k miles I just recently replaced the entire driceshaft and new front pads.

But the ABS and Brake Lining lights are still on. After reading the forum I read how to reset and that I need to change the brake sensor. How can you tell which ones are bad? Is it easy to tell if the sensor is bad by looking at it?


What about the ABS light? Do you guys think it has something to do wtih the brake lining/brake sensor issue?


Also...I havent drove this car in a few months but it takes a few times to start the car... It takes like 2-3 turns to start it....


What troubleshooting steps should I take?

You should always replace front and read brake pad sensor together, after changing the pads... if pads are fine in the back and you only replace front for some reason... still change both sensors... there cheap... few dollars each.. ;P
