Hey guys, many of us in the DFW area have never met. I know that many of us are working on various things - suspensions, stereos, detailing, etc. It really doesn't matter what. Let me know if you're interested in getting together at my house beer and air tools at your disposal. I am more than happy to assist in any way. Bring your new valve cover gaskets, bring your new struts/shocks, bring your cleaning suppliles if you just want to make her shine - I have a PC here as well. I was so insanely jealous of gumbi et al's detail day that I'd like to replicate that here in the DFW area (I offer my house unless someone has a better setup).

If you're interested, let me know! Once we get some interest, we'll go about picking out a date.

I might come down to Dallas for something like this with my padre, but I am waiting for new head lights and tails, and when those come in, the installation of them and the M5 bumper. Hopefully it'll be sometime within 4 weeks :shifty

How hard can it be?

What do you mean, like pads? Rotors and pads? Or an entire new kit?

brakes are pretty straight forward. unbolt, and then rebolt. bleeding can be a PITA depending on what you are bleeding with.

You were?

BTW BlackSaph, I hope your meet comes out great! Its really fun hosting and having a few good friends just hang out. Detailing IS tiresome. Just ask Keith. I didnt do much detailing but my legs and back were hurting. Im out of shape though.

Unless you feel like trying to replace your brake fluid, I wouldn't be worrying about bleeding them.

Cool guys.... I kind of just let this thread run it's course for a day to see if people had any interest or not. As it looks, we've got about a half-dozen cars that can probably make it. I've got plenty of room and cool neighbors so I don't think that would be an issue. I will supply beer and edibles so come hungry. Then, just bring your tools, jacks, parts, whatever and we can all do some round-robin assistance. As I said before, I've got air tools as well that you guys are more than welcome to borrow.

We just need to pick some dates - I assume saturdays work well for everyone. I'm pretty tied up for the next two of them however. I'm open for suggestions.
