easy to believe if it is an illegal, pirated knockoff.

He's just selling the repair manual in software form. Seeing as how the book is over 100 bucks, seems like alot of people would buy this 10 dollar cd version of the repair manual.

Some of those are really good. I have one for all of my Bikes.... They come in handy and it is ezier to search using the program as opposed to the book. I do not have the program for the Bimmer...

Just some guy who bought the DVD/CD version for regular price and is then charging $10 for a $0.05 CD and a copy.

It's not the TIS. What exactly is it? Link to real, non-pirated version?

Where can the real deal TIS be found? I have both Bentley manuals, but I sense the TIS is more for service bulletins! I bought one of the CD sets that was "supposed" to also contain a copy of the 540 tis, but it is too hard for this old fart to navigate. If there is a hard copy TIS in addition to what comes in the Bentley set, I want one.

the cd you got is likely a copy of the real TIS 540iman. The software is difficult to setup and navigate but it is a good reference.

Hey, good to hear from some "locals". It may be exactly what you said it is. Where can a written manual be had if you (or anyone) knows? I like something I can read like a newspaper! I think it is because of all the hassle with this particular software. It all may be there, but it seems rather a pain to use. A written copy, assuming it is not huge money, I think would be better for me.
