I thought I was pretty good about regular maintenance but I've been fighting an issue for awhile now that will probably end up being caused by the failure of some suspension wear item.
What am I missing? Post yours up.

Wow, that's quite a list. Makes me feel like a scrub for using FCAs for a 3rd season.
FWIW,They have less than 12 track days on them. (Life interrupts track season too often)
In all honesty I haven't changed any of the things on your list till it's showing signs of wear or has passed it's life expectancy. Tie rods every year? WOW!
I'd like to know, is there a "life" to most of the things on your list or is that kind of overkill?
If the car needs it, I get it done with the right parts ASAP but I'd never think to change engine mounts bi-annually. I just change 'em when the fail the "Push hard on the valve cover edge" shake test. Most other things get changed every 3-5 years.
Now that you mention it, my SS Brake lines are 5 years old. Is that bad?

I've missed enough track time in the last 6 months due to stupid mechanical failures that the cost to replace the parts is a bargain compared to towing several hundred miles, breaking down, and still being on the hook for the $500 reg fee. For losing an entire weekend's worth of cost ($1000-1200), I could've replaced all of those parts and then some and run trouble free.
I guess it depends on how much you use the car. My list was assuming 30-40 track days per year.

J, I love ya like a brother but fuck you. I wish I could do half those days a season.:mad Too many weekend obligations, the costs of living in Metro NY and crazy work weeks with no weekdays off.
You just crushed my spirit. I wanna go lay on the floor and throw a temper tantrum like a 5 year old till I get more track days out of life.

I hear ya, this year I have 13-14 days planned and it will be my most ever. Funny thing is that I'm not nervous at all about any of the parts on the car. For some reason I expect it to go the distance minus pads, rotors, and tires. I'm with Matt though...I have stellar luck with parts lasting and staying in good shape. I do a once over between track days but really only replace parts on a need be basis. For HPDE stuff I guess you don't need every last tenth on every lap though

:rofl Well come to WGI June 16/17 and we'll drown your sorrows.
I have zero obligations besides my job and my car. No family, no kids, etc makes prioritizing track time easier.
