OK...I can certainly understand a light and chime to remind you to buckle your seatbelt, but BMW has it all wrong here....ALL WRONG. First I will preface by saying I wear my seatbelt 99.9% of the time, with exceptions of moving my car from parking spot to another and other similar micro jaunts.
Here's my beef...if you are driving 4-5mph the chime comes on and DOES NOT stop for, what must be 1 minute...even if I put the car in PARK it still chimes, dings and drives me crazy. Once it's in park the damn chime should stop. If I'm moving my car around in a parking lot I usually don't put on my seatbelt and if the speeds are below 10mph it should go ding crazy...am I the only one going nuts on this?? Am I just picking at what otherwise might be the perfect car??
