Ok, so I'm up in Rochester last weekend... I'm sitting at a light about to make a left onto a major highway in the area... coming the other way I see a car in the distance that I almost mistake for an NSX... just as my light turns however, I see this car whip a right hand turn and take off like a bat out of hell down the on-ramp...
i just have enough time to make out "f355" on the tail before being treated to the wonderful sound of a Ferrari V8 opened up;)
I gun it right there... i've never seen a 355 in person and I'm not about to loose my chance;)
after a few minutes I catch up to him on the highway and we cruise along... OMG those cars are gorgeous... I"ve seen 360's before, but I'm sorry, the 355's lines are nicer... So wide and low... so beautiful;)
we're cruising along at 75-80 or so in a 55 and suddenly I spot a cop ahead... Well, I slam on the breaks. the 355 just keeps right on going, passing the cop at a good clip... I watch the cop speed up, and Pace the 355 for about a mile... before turning off at the next onramp;)
(you know the cop just wanted to get a good look)...
so, my exit comes up, and it just so happens the 355 is getting off at the same place I am. As we pull of the exit we find ourselves stopped side by side at a light...
"I know I don't have to tell you this sir, but she's beautiful"...
"thanks" he says...
so we're sitting there, side by side.... "what the hell" I think
rev...
he rev's the v8 (Drool...)
the light changes and I launch my absolute best...
I'm immediately surprised... We're nose and nose, what's going on here? should be getting my ass kicked...
just then I look over... he looks at me, Smiles...
next thing I know he's just tail-lights in the distance...
It made my trip though... I can't say it enough, damn those are beautiful machines...
(coincidentally... I got another ricer kill on that trip... riced out Accord this time... he challenged... I didn't even drop the clutch, just let the engine pull me out... ended up getting a good 2 car lengths on him by 50...)
it was a good trip;)
