how tacky are red demon eyes in my hellrot ///M? I'm trying to figure something out, I want a cool look for the day running lights. Other than the stock yeller bulbs. Maybe just some angel eyes?

Few questions:

1. Are BT Ellipsoids better or worse then Depo? Or the same if that's the case.
2. How much for that deal with both HID's upgraded to 50W Prolumen (8K headlights, 3K fogs), shipped to Canada? How much to add clean Lamin-X to both?

1. the depo are better, with the hid option and the 50w at that things will even up.
2. the options are listed on the order page, for 2 50w kits just double the added charge.
just add the items to your cart and enter your zip you'll get the total with shipping.

Habbie, I just want to order new OEM style fogs with a bright yellow HID kit. Do you guys sell yellow bulbs? Don't really like the yellow lamin-x look so I figured this would be a good option. Do you have any packages for just fogs and an HID kit? Pre-installed yet? Thanks.

Okay, so about $110...how about achieving the same yellow that the yellow lamin-x would produce, but without the film...I know the light description for the 3000k is yellow, but is that the color I am looking for? or is it simply a dull white.

Hey, how much to trade my tabless set of DEPOs, faulty predators and sketchy UDDs from the $300+ era (2.5 months ago) for this new bundle?? Can you do 4500k bulbs?

Nah. They broke off when I slid the corner lenses in. :mad I suppose that was my fault so I shouldn't complain. The plastic in DEPO housings is too hard/brittle though our vendors can't do much about it.

Nice. Yeah, it came to me after the fact to soften up the tabs. Perhaps I can epoxy them back on if I can locate them in the bowels of my bumper.

Orion Angel Eyes

+High beam bulbs

It asked if I wanted a fog light adapter harness, and I passed. What do I need to do to install it myself?

you need a 9006 harness to install the hids in the fogs, look at the write up in the diy section.
shipping is only $25, i didnt look at your order yet but im sure you didnt pay $50, if you did you'll get refunded.

your package is being held by customs canada, they are checking the package for custom and duty purposes, the more we contact them about it the bigger the chance you'll have to pay custom and duty charges.

Hey Habbie, I already have a set of 6k HID bulb and ballast from the February group buy, have not had a chance to install it yet.

What I wanted for my car was the new set of headlights with Angel eyes, HID bulb and ballast for foglight, the foglight itself, and lamin -x.

The fog lights for E36 have H7, right? or am I wrong? I don't know what to get and what not to get from the list. Also, do i need fog light wiring harness?

THank youo!

OEM fogs on all e36's are h1's.
the fog harness is necessary to complete the install and makes life a whole lot easier without hacking the hid kit.

So how much would you guys recommend the laminex? I really don't have a huge amount of money to spend on these and I'm just wondering how important you think it is to have on there.

Also, what is the "depo gen 4" thing? And double checking that I do need the harness for the fogs?

Thanks very much guys,
B

what would my total be if i wanted...

the set of headlamps, 2 HID kits (6000k), Predator Chromium AEs, and the 2nd pair of foglights?

also, whats the difference b/t the regular HID kit and the Prolumen kit?

if i just wanted the 2 HID kits (6000k), what would the total be then?

you could but the saving will only be ~$30

you would need a fog harness.
the stoneguards are cheap insurance, you will wish you got them if your lens breaks or cracks.
depo gen4 are an upgraded set of headlights.

it will go on a while longer, probably a few more weeks, as long as people buy these we'll keep making them available.
good luck with the new car.

Wow, I read this awhile back and forgot all about it. I will order later this evening but I thought I would ask a quick question.

I already have yellow glass french fogs with clear H1 bulbs. Is the 9006 bulb base the same as the H1, meaning will the new HID 9006 bulb fit in my H1 housing?

Also, do you offer yellow lamin-x for the fogs? I ask because one of mine is leaking and may be cracked.

So, as a double check here is what I looking for.

-The ellipsoid headlights w/ clear lamin-x
-some sort of angel eyes - most likely predator chromiums.
-prolumen kit w/ 6k bulbs for low beams
-standard kit w/ 6k bulbs for the highs(maybe 7k or 8k but they may not be as bright)
-crystal clear fogs
-plug and play harness
-prolumen kit w/ 3k bulbs for fogs
-yellow lamin-x on the fogs as well

Here is another question, i like the looks of the yellow glass/lamin-x when the lights are off. What color temp would look the best yellow under the colored lense. Just get 3k anyway? Yellow with yellow will be....yellow right?

Thanks guys.

you will have to order an h1 kit for the fogs, the 9006 will not fit.
lamin-x for the fogs is available and is listed in the option field.

Ok, I was just making sure. I thought you were selling two sets of 9006's in that package deal and I was curious.

How much extra would it be for the extra base HID kit for the High beams? I figure the cheap ones are good enough for only using them a few times a month. Thanks a bunch, is there a way that when I submit my order i can send a verification blurb about what all I want in case i misunderstood anything on the order page?

Inspect your set that you order VERY carefully and make sure to test it.

It's very common from the posts I've seen so far and my own personal experience that the quality of items ordered here can vary dramatically.

For that reason, it's good to look at them and test them before you spend the time installing them and then notice that you have a problem, since they want you to ship things back before they offer any replacement.

Oh, and your own cost too.

Here's some help...

3 & 11
4 & 10
12 will connect with either 1 or 2... which ever is your low beam harness plug, I'm not sure.
6 you will need to tap into your corner light power wire...grey/yellow stripe on one side, grey/purple on the other, u can use two 9's to do this...but I would use a clip-on tap for ease of removal.

I could be wrong, but this should get you your low beams and Angel Eyes.

I'm sure someone else knows what to do with the high beams...

Something is probably pushing up against the hood. If this is the case, your hood pull lever becomes difficult or impossible to operate unless someone is pushing down on the hood.

Make sure you didn't leave a ballast or a ratchet or some other tool lying on your radiator cover or on top of your headlight.
