Hi, just wanted to get some opinions. I am looking at a 2006 330 sedan with 58K miles. It is at a BMW dealership, and will be certified. It is loaded with Auto,Prem, ZSP, Nav, and Xenons, but they are asking 26.9K. It seems a little high. Do you all see any issues with a car with this many miles and only 2 years old? Anyone else purchase an e90 with high miles? Should I negot. a maint. warranty at that price? Any help would be appreciated. thanks.

I would look at a different car. The dealer has it over priced and WTF 58k miles in 2 yrs

I am in Phoenix, and the dealer states they know the owner, and he commuted between southern CA and here. So they are mostly open highway miles. Does this make a difference? Especially if I can get the price down.

Highway miles don't make much of a difference with modern engines IMO. The only diff between highway and city mileage may be how fast the brake pads wear but they are wear items anyway so really no relevance.

What options/ packages does it come with because I still think that price is too high with that kind of mileage. You should try to negotiate with the dealer.

Auto, Premium, Sport, NAV

I am not sure this would help: I just brought a CPO 2006 330xi with 50k miles for $28k. It has Nav, auto, premium, sport, park assist and cold.
Actually, could someone tell me whether I paid too much on this?

as far as the price it seems about right for a 330 as opposed to the cheaper 325. ;)

to get one w/ lower miles will run you another $1500 at least. but if the miles don't bother him, he plans to keep it for a while and it's a CPO i say go for it.

ask them to throw in free maint. up 100k and they got a deal!!! :buttrock

Yeah, it would be great for him if the car had the 100k mile maintenence deal

I paid $26k for my 06 325i sedan and it had 22k miles on it. 58mi for $26k is B.S.

a 330 w/ 58k is still worth more then a 325 w/ 22k (see nada)........ :rolleyes

true, i didnt know it was a 300 until i re-read the post. i also posted the wrong amt for my car. heck i wish i paid 23k for it but i paid 26 and then had some extras installed like bluetooth, window tint and i got the extended warranty. now i'm out of work and need to sell the car.

The price seems high for that many miles... Try to talk them down a little more and for them to throw in the 2 yr 100k maintenance plan. check out the tires too make sure they have some life left in them if not then tell them to throw that in too :)

i respectfully disagree with you.

stop and go driving stresses drive train components more than straight line highway driving; city roads, especially in the snow belt, are notoriously destructive to suspension components, wheels and tires.

does respectfully disagreeing with you qualify as antics and antagonizing?

my opinion is that you should be able score a pretty good deal on a 330 because there's a good supply of these cars out there.

the profile of a person who drives a 330 wants a 335.

look around.

you should be able to get a better deal than that.

that seems good for a 330 even though the miles are a bit high. i have a 06 325i (e90) and my mileage was 22k when i got it, its now 26k and stays in the garage until i can sell it. not sure if you wanna come to OC to buy it, given that its a 325 and not 330.

I just did a search on Autotrader and found 13 330i's with less than 45,000 miles for under $27000, within 500 miles of Phoenix. I'd shop around.

Wow, I didn't realize that my old post had been revived. About a month ago, I got a 06 325 SG/Gray, ZHP/Auto/Premium/Xen with 46K for $22.5. It is in perfect condition, and it is certified. I also negot. an extended maint for $1500, so $24 total with service and maint until 100K. My wife has probably put about 100 miles on it since we got it, so in about 2 years, it will have mainstream miles, so I wasn't too worried. Thanks all for your help.

I paid 26,900 for my 2006 Fully loaded, Nav, Prem, Xenon, its had 44k miles on it when I bought it. Not sure if that was a good deal or not, but I love the car.
