whats up. i figured since the next few days are gonna be pretty free for me. i figured i might as well do the DIY shadowline. the chrome is faded and dull. no point in restoring it anymore. anyone know how to remove the trim and what i'd need to replace after i remove it?

Chances are you are going to break the tabs holding it on when you try and remove it. I would suggest just taping and covering your entire car and doing it while they are on.

CleverTD did a great job shadowlining his 535i, it looks great in person. From what he told me, he just took it all off and bought new clips since they weren't expensive. Hopefully he'll be here in a bit to clear that up, hope I got it right.

I wanna do the same and I think it would also be a lot easier to do it off the car since you dont have to worry about paint dripping, and you could let it dry in a clean dry place or inside, etc.
