Alpine White with Coral Red leather  Some middle-aged lady was driving it northbound on Moorland Rd. about 1:00 this afternoon. It was definitely odd seeing one in person. It's very odd looking but very cool looking at the same time.

Concours BMW has a whole fleet of them on the lot.

I looked at them when I was buying my 335i coupe and I was seriously underwhelmed. I thought they looked tubby and top-heavy - and were RIDICULOUSLY expensive. Don't know why anyone would buy one instead of a 3-series, unless they really couldn't afford that ten extra dollars per week.

I am thinking of getting one when they are post lease, should be a much better deal.

I'm 6' even, and plenty comfortable in one, though I do purposely sit close to the wheel so's I can turn it all the way without locking elbows.

My personal opinion, I like the 135i WAY better than the 335i. Even if it's not that much lighter, it FEELS much lighter, and much more agile. Basically, I drive a 135i, and it gets my heart pumping. 335i, not so much. Feel free to take that with a grain of salt though, as I BELIEVE the 335i that I've driven most recently was a non-sport pack, and the 135i was. BTW, the 1-series is way goofy looking... mainly the headlights:eyecrazy
