I went to Apollo Autobody( right across from Ericson Nissan) today to see if I could get a quote on painting my lower skirts and front and back bumper. My friend had some work on his Mercedes done there awhile back and it turned out really nice so I kept them in mind

I ask the owner what he thinks about doing them and tell him Im not in a big rush so
whenever he could do it would be fine.

He then tells me that he doesnt do BMW's and I quote "because they are horrible horrible automobiles and a pain in the ass to work on". I know that he does every other type of euro car based on the cars parked out front, but this kind of took my by surprise. I looked at his jag outside and thought.... yeah almost as horrible as a rebadged ford

Anyways im still lookin around for for a place to do it, price is deffinitly a major consideration. I know people are going to say modern, dougs place and so on but although I KNOW they are the best in town, just a little pricey for me. Any suggestions would be nice!

I too endorse Modern and Doug's but, you should go and see Graham at Cougar Collision on the Yellowhead. He painted the valance on my son's e30 a couple of years ago, and as I remember the price was quite reasonable. It was off the car though.

He does some very high end muscle cars as well, so I don't think you have to worry about the quality.

Broadmoor Autobody in Sherwood Park. Never had a problem with them. I'd say they're a little above average price wise but they do a bang-up job.

If you do the prep yourself then modern and doug's may not be out of the question. Just a thought.
