Yet you can't get a normal rim screw for a style 5 wheel :-p

Seriously though, the cheapest I can find 170 rim screws for my style 5's is $400

Theres several places actually. And the 17" Style 5's have 34 screws/wheel so that makes 136 screws total.

Try www.titanium-touch.com if you want the exact style screw head that came with your style 5's.

Or if you just want bbs bolts, like I just ordered for my Style 5's, try iclair.de but its all in german so you have to navigate around by pictures haha. I just paid 249 shipped for bolts and nuts. :buttrock They are the bbs rs style bolt head though, I dont know if you want that or oem like.

I got a quote from titanium-touch.com, after the exchange rate and shipping it is well over $400, plus I have 5 rims, 4 plus spare wheel, for 170 total bolts. Correct me if i'm wrong but the RS style aren't press in bolts like stock wont that cause some problems, maybe a little bit of play in the wheel pieces?

Ohh ok, 170 makes sense then.

Titanium touch does seem like it would be very pricey. They look to have some great quality stuff though.

I'd try iclair.de if I were you.

The only reason why I think the RS bolts will be fine, is that I've seen a few others (and talked to them) on this board that are running them in their style 5's without issue. So I am assuming it will be fine. Instead of slots like the style 5 bolts, the rs bolts are solid surfaced, so I am not worried about play in the wheel pieces at all.

I will let you know how it goes when I install mine. But that wont be for a couple of weeks though.

haha the gold ones just might look pretty good on my rs' since theyre gold anyway... if i havent got anything else to spend on, i just might do it! its gonna be a bitch to clean them even more though. cleaning mesh + spiked bolts is gonna suck haha

I just started cleaning off my old style 5 bolts to see how they look under all the rust, so far it's encouraging, just trying to decide if i want to try chroming, polishing, or powder coating em.

Thats how mine looked on my first set, maybe not even that bad and I still snapped 2 of them rebuilding the wheels.

The bolts have already been stretched when they were initially torqued down. Hardware like this should usually not be used again.

Just a warning for you, but definitely do not let me stop you.

Trust me if I could find new hardware, i'd use it! I refuse to spend $400 on bolts though, I'll clean them up real good, and torque them to spec and hope for the best, If I have to order a few replacements that's fine, but at around $2 / bolt, I want to keep it to a minimum.
