Have an illumination issue. I used the search and couldnt find relevance. Every light works except my climate control and computer buttons until..................I hit a crazy pothole. Then they magically appear, but only for a short time. Is there a module that controls the illumination, cause my e36 had the same exact problem?

I don't think that will fix your problem. The LKM repair (and there is a better version in the DIY) only resolders the relays that control high, low and fog lights. It does not deal with your dash illumination issue.
I do remember a few threads on this regarding replacing these bulbs behind the dash or fixing the connections to them. You may have to search further.

I saw a few pertaining to the bulbs and connections. But they didnt seem to address the random issue that I have.

Here is what happened to me... The bulbs on the bimmer are twist-in type that are kinda strange. Both connections are made by twisting the bulb into it's socket.
I installed my new 12" sub and due to the bass, it knocked out my tail lights similar to what you said. I just reseated the bulbs and POOOF! Problem gone. I just retwisted the bulbs in and they make good contact again... Did the dash too on 2 lights.

Your random issue points to either a bad connection or a failing filiment in a bulb. Since both lights come on over a bump I would assume it is a connection issue. As stated check the bulbs seating. You may get lucky. Otherwise you may be chasing down a bad ground or wire issue.
