Makes me want to see photos of street cars without the side bump strip to see how it would look removed. This one flows because there isnt any bumpers

On a US car, it would have about the same overbite as this guy:

As for that e21, i think it's been discussed on here before, and I don't believe we came to a conclusion as to who owns it. Someone even believed it was photoshopped.

I think photoshopped was the general concensus, and I believe it. If you weld the holes where the side trim comes off, a street car looks great without it. There is a ridge there that is covered by the trim that this car does not have.

But filling that ridge is not that hard. If you went to all the trouble to blend in fender flares like that, I wouldn't put it past the owner to smooth the doors too. I'd doubt photoshop.

Upon looking again, I tend to agree. I can't find anything fishy about the picture. Anybody got a bigger version?

I see nothing that leads me to believe that it has been pshopped. Love that car, kinda odd how they did all that work and didn't smooth out the rear valance.

I was thinking the exact same thing. They left the 2 angled lines normally covered by the rear bumper.

And why is the pic titled "wide body e30"? :confused

That picture has been used and saved by so many people that I'm not surprised someone thought it was an E30 :rolleyes

And for the record, I think that is most agressive looking E21 I've seen. I like the classic lines of my car (mostly stock with Euro bumpers), but I would like to do that to my car. That being said, the cost of metal work would take me to the cleaners.

And, I don't mind the rear valance one bit! I don't think it is fake, but I wonder if there is a dividing line between the rocker panel and the front fender - I can't make it out in this picture, but it seems to be just one piece.

That car is according to what we have discussed on tricord's board is running a groupe 2 body kit. Jason in the UK sells the groupe 2 type fender flairs, which,
add to the body making it more aggressive.

The problem is that kit is too much for the street.
When I had my 323i running, with the front BBS skirt and the color of the car,
I was getting pulled over by the POPO all the time. Can you imagine what that kit would do?

Also I agree with CJ, and Josh, it looks like the real thing to me.

Oh puhleeeese, it's alot less flashy that ALL of the sport compact import whatever those things are called. And the flares are barely 2 inches wide,"too much"? Gimme a break. :cool

I can tell you that if it is real and really has the motor as denoted on the back of the car 2.7 that thing is a beast. I love that car and personally it looks real to me.

I think it's real, don't really care. I think there are several guys around that could go to the trouble of doing exactly what is shown in that picture, not to a real B6 unless it was already wrecked. If it is a photochop, it's pretty damn good. Checkout the reflection of the other car in the door. Perhaps I'm just naieve because I have zero experience modifying pics. None the less, cool car.

That are car is not PS'ed. I too thought about smoothing out the door, but was told its not a good idea.

That car is hot, one of the best looking e21s around. Wish there was more info and pics of it.

My apologies... I found that picture quite awhile ago and saved it without knowing there was a difference between an E30 and an E21. I have known that it was an E21 for sometime and never thought about changing the number designation on the picture.

It is posted in the right area of the forum so leave me alone okay! Hahaha.
