hi people didn't quite know what section to post in so i thought i'd start here, i've got a 97 euro m3 vert going to give it some tlc shortly so its time for some new suspension. i was going to fit some eibach coilovers but i've heard this may not be the best option, what would u guys recommend car is only used for road use just looking at sharpening up handling?? also what other parts should i change at the same time?? any info would be good.

stock or H&Rs with some Konis if you want to lower it a bit.
Stock with new bushings all around.
Bilstein shocks with Eibach or H&R springs if you want to go the aftermarket route.
I think the Bilstein shocks are great for the money they cost.
Koni FSD is a nice choice as well if they deliver these for the E36.
I would not go the coil over route on a cabrio. Even the Eibach ones are harsh and don't really fit the purpose of a cabrio car IMHO.

New bushings and new stock dampers are a lot better than your old worn out parts. It will feel much better without adding harshness of a coilover setup. I also do not recommend Bilstein Sport or HD dampers since they feel harsh over bumps.
