If you want it to look new w/o looking like its been sand blasted.

I would recommend LaminX

No, you don't HAVE to get Lamin-X. However, I'm sure everyone would advise you to do so. It's a fairly inexpensive thing to protect your investment. Rather foolish IMO not to get it. To each his or her own though.

I bought my M almost 3 years ago, prev owner had spent and put the ZKW's in my Sig, but no Stone Guard. He was a NASA Track instructor, so the car saw many many laps on the track. When I got the car, the glass lenses where peppered with marks and ugly. After 6 months, I got some new lenses from Chris at Understeer.com with Stone Guard. After over 2 years of 70m per day commute on SoCal freeways, my Lenses still look brand new. Not a mark!!! (wish the rest of the front end looked like that!)

Get Stone Guard!!!!

I would say it's more for chips than cracks. I have it on my fogs and headlights, I still cracked a fog.

yep....i had a rock break my headlight glass with stoneguard.....but it must have been huge.......those damn rock trucks on so cal freeways

definitely get it though, i know it has saved my lights many times....and its true it keeps em looking like new, i have 40mm laminx now and its great
and imo it went on better than the stoneguard
