What is the MSRP? Go to bmwusa.com and build it to find out if you don't know.

I just ordered a 2008 335i convertible, $61,094 drive out. Loaded with dam near every option offered (no sirius, no active control, and no automatic fancy kersmancy distance cruise control).

mom got a 2008 335i convertible with every single option except for the lane control thing, but besides that, every option, price was around 66k. id say that price you are being offered is good.

Geez you guys are spending alot for your 335's....might as well get an M3!

Why does everyone see the need to fully load their car with some options that they'll rarely use? Get the car at a price you can comfortably afford and just enjoy it for the fun of driving it...that's the best part of any BMW.

The hardtop convertible M3 is over 80 grand, out the door....... prolly 85 plus. I'm just curious, how do you know we won't have fun....... your statement is quite the assumption "comfortably afford and just enjoy it for the fun of driving it" ...

Oh i'm sure you will have a blast driving it, but at what expense? I'm just curious as to how far people will go optioning out their car before going to the next model up from their choosing. I only ask because some of these prices that people are paying for their 335's are $15K-$20K MORE than what I paid for mine. I also know many people regret getting certain options afterwards because they say they really don't use them or need them. It's your money and you can do with it as you please, but it is interesting to see how much more people are actually willing to spend to get behind the same wheel as many of us paying a small fortune less for.

If you are saying you can get this car for $47,500 that's a great deal, imho. I got mine, which had the same MSRP , for $48,000

Dealer fee= dork tax. Might as well be offering it to you at 48k. Do the math on edmunds or KBB and tell us how much over invoice.

Good luck finding a dealer that will not charge any fees.

According to Edmunds, with the options I have chosen the invoice price comes out at $46,090 so if i'm looking at this right they are asking $1,410 over invoice.

Edmunds invoice cost is not accurate.

Correct invoice pricing can be found on bimmerfest.com.

Edmunds does not include the Training and Maco fees, otherwise it is correct. So add about $480 to the edmunds total.

Fees are unavoidable but the poster has a point about your dealer fee....seems high. This is an optional fee to your dealer and could be negotiated. I paid $45 for mine.

You should not pay more than $500 above invoice price for the 335 coupe. Don't also let them charge you the dealer fee of $499.
Don't listen to this guy; we at the BMW Center don't need to starve.

A fair price for both the buyer and the seller can be negotiated though.

Never believe 100% what a sales person said. They tend to exaggerate. I know a lot of people who paid for that price or lower this year.
I'm not a sales person.

This message is for username Cable2 only. I'm not sure if you bought your car yet, but I know for a fact that two of my friends paid $500 above invoice prices and there was no dealership fee of $499. Also, the interest rate on their loan is 3.9% from BMW. Anyhow good luck.

If you don't like my message to others, please ignore it.
There is no need to continue this. I only respond to cable2 at first to ensure that he got a good price.

Granted some people here don't respond probably as well as they should but I doubt you are correct with your numbers. We would need to see the particulars to verify. I seriously doubt your 2 friends did as well as they said.

I can also found other site such as bimmerfest with the same information.

With the economy not doing so great this year, you can get a great deal.

The economy in the US may not be doing great, but BMW and esp. BMW USA is doing fantastic, here is some evidence:

In short, try to get the best deal you can, but don't be surprised if a CA stops returning your calls or giving you the time of the day if you try to take their shirt off.

P.S. I am not affiliated with BMW in any way and am not a salesman, nor do I like salesmen, but I am realistic and still believe companies and employees have a right to earn a profit. Something fair to both parties is best.

After inputing your stuff on BMWUSA I come up with a MSRP of $48,750, or $1,250 more than your offer. Its been a month since you started this thread. Did you buy it?

I paid $700 over invoice for a 335xi coupe: Space Grey, Premium package, Sport package with 189's, heated fronts only, steptronic with paddles, comfort access, brushed aluminum (no extra charge). Before the dealer installed accessories it came out a bit cheaper than your quoted price. I don't know what NAV costs, nor do I remember the markup for the xi coupe.
