Since my car has been acting stupid and not wanting to run, it seems I have no choice but to take it to a mechanic. It will turn on and sometimes run for a while, and other times start and sputter a bit then shut off. After a while I can't even get it to stay on.

Any recommendations for a shop in or close to south arlington?

yah those codes are a fuel trim malfunction codes. id check to make sure there arnt any intake manifold leaks. or check your O2 sensors to see if those may be going out. you may also want to use an actual BMW peake tool instead of the generic autozone code reader you have used.

hmm did you try unplugging it and starting the car? if you do and it runs fine, then that's your problem, happened to me at least! lol

o2 sensors and maf will not cause a car to stutter and die, sounds like you have fuel flow issues, pull the gas line to the fuel and check for delivery
