Did you use capacitors?
Did you get an LCM reflash?

I am having problems with a BAVTOYS kit and cannot seem to get an answer to fix it.
Again please only reply if you have the 04 or 05 model year 3 series. 99-03 are different.

If you are putting a kit into a car that does not have hids and are not just swapping out the ds2, then you must get you lcm reflashed at the dealer for xenon lights. There was a thread on e46fanatics that a bmw tec posted, it explained exactly what the bmw tec had to do. So when i did a job for a customer i brought that paper with me to bmw and told them to follow it step by step, and it worked perfectly. Some sponsors fail to tell you that you are going to need the reflash. Trust me i went through it, if i find the thread ill post it for you.

Edit: Here are the directions i gave to my dealer:
With a MODIC Station:
- Select ZCS coding
- Pick the model of your car i.e. E46, E39...etc.
- Select LSZ or LCM
- Select "Retrofit"
- Select "Xenon" or "Bi-Xenon" headlights.

Some dealers also use GT1, the directions are similar.
