I'm debating whether to buy a euro plate through these guys?
Are these guys affiliated with europeanplates.com, because I've heard they take days to ship the items.

Any opinions?

Do NOT order from them. My friend ordered one for his MK III GTi and it literally took 2 months for him to get it. He told me about www.mattman-enterprises.com so I ordered one from there. It literally took like 2 days to get my plate.

Forget about europeanplates.com. Go with Mattman Enterprises.

Ya that's what I've been generally hearing which is why I created the post to hear some other feedback.
Here's the thing though, my dad is originally from Switzerland so I was leaning toward buying a Swiss plate for the car, just to give my car something a little original. I was only able to find Swiss plates on europeanplates.net/.com
Is there another place I can find those plates?

nothing wrong with europeanplates.net. tyler is a stand-up guy, and is active in the e30 community (he is a forum sponsor over at R3V)

besides, if you are buying a custom item (one they have to make, they dont have in stock) you cant expect it to come the next day.

I just ordered from Mattman Enterprises, I couldnt be happier with the service. I had a bunch of questions as I was not sure which letters I wanted, etc, etc. Immediate communication and very friendly. Good prices to boot:buttrock.

Highly recommend to anyone that wants to order them.

I love how this looks, i have a beat up one that my dad gave me.. i used to have it on my Scion, and i know the cars not german, but at the time it was my baby FF beamer LOL.. NOW i got my 318is and the europlate looks great, i just want my very own specialized version....

Im thinking of putting my actual license# so if i get hassled by cops at least its not like im trying to have a different plate, I live in Los Angeles California. Does anyone have problems with europlates out here.. On the front bumper of course!!!

I live in San Bernardino. My windows are limo tinted (supposedly, I'm not sure, but they're SUPER dark) and I have a euro plate on the front. Never had a problem with cops. But then again, I drive like a little old lady, so maybe that's why. :stickoutt

well . . . ppl over here would pay good money if they wouldn't have to put those ugly plates on their cars . . and you guys mount em for no reason . . :shifty

I'm happy that we don't have those big "european plates" . . Switzerland has different ones . . which I like much better . . since they are not that big
