I was just on umnitza.com and I noticed that they have an option for wireless angel eyes. Im just wondering if anyone has them and how do they work? Are they easy to install?

I know oem ones are lit by pressing in a bulb at the ends of the ring.

There's an option for wireless

** Optional Wireless Feature
Wireless feature eliminates the standard harness. It makes it easier to install. The standard wiring harness has 6 connections, while the wireless feature has only 4. The wireless devices works over RF from over 40ft away. Simply plug in the RF transmitter into your 12Vdc Power Adapter, press the on/off button, and your RF receiver/relay will power on the angel eyes. This feature is perfet for 5, 7, and X5 series owners. Please pretest all rings and wireless features per instructions **


it sounds like it still has wires to provide power to the angel eyes.. but i guess this option eliminates the need to run wires and a switch, from the headlights to the cockpit, with a 'wireless' remote system of some sort. idk

Ahh I see. I just don't want to screw anything up with the wires thats why I was wondering about the wireless ones.

picture was taken off the site, it seem like on the wire that connects the angel eyes to power is a transmitter that sends a signal to a remote that plugs into you cig lighter. It would be a nice feature for those who have city lights and angel eyes or illegal angel eyes
