Alex, what made you put the 12mm spacers on the back? Do the back wheels not stick out far enough? Just Curious, because those look like stock 545i wheels.
alexd 04-16-2008, 11:17 PM they are the stock wheels. just wanted them to "fill" the fenders a little more. I should have gone with 15mm they would look even better.
Icabob 04-17-2008, 12:17 AM Great job!!! Now when are you coming up here to detail mine...lol.Looks good !!!
denivic 04-17-2008, 01:45 AM Nice clean car!!!! NICE!
wicked range rover. wish i had gone down the same path as you when i bought the x5
alexd 04-19-2008, 09:50 AM Rover is a nice truck but we had an X5 prior to the rover and there are things about the X5 that we miss.
alexd 04-19-2008, 10:52 AM Just put my 128's on....

is yours supercharged? we had a 2003 v8 for a few months until some low life stole it and totalled it, replaced that with a benz ml55 and it was never quite as good

Car looks great! Are you still using the spacers with the new wheels?
alexd 04-28-2008, 08:42 PM 550i - no i have the N/A version. Comes off lease the end of July.
530goinon850 - car rides as better than before.
Mitch - yeah works great, going to try to squeeze 15mm's back there soon.

Alex- Beautiful job so far. Where did you buy your spacers and did those 12mm require that you purchase new longer lugs? Thanks.
alexd 05-05-2008, 09:02 AM Thanks man.
Best spacers to get are H&R, best place to get them is Turner Motorsports and yes you do need longer studs, they sell them there as well. They also offer them in black so it looks OEM.
I have been down the road with other brand spacers and the corrode, break and stick to the hub. You cant go wrong with H&R.
HokieSean24 05-05-2008, 09:40 AM Looks great! I am really loving the 5 series, maybe soon!
alexd 05-05-2008, 12:16 PM thanks man.
