i am sure a few of us saw this one show up on the ole OBC display.
i got a euro LKM and that means it will read a fault in the lightbulb where i dont have one. greg told me all about it. i am wondering how to bypass it.
i got a bit of an idea and was wondering if that unused wiring harness holds the solution. if that is the control wires to the rear foglights then bypassing the wires should fool the module that there are light bulbs. if i am right , then i need to know what wires to connect. if i am wrong then tell me...lol

You need a bulb in that spot, or a resistor (but I don't know what value). Or you can send me your LKM for reprogramming back to US version.

you would have to modify the light and fabricate a bulb holder alomg with the associated wiring. If you make it to Mt. DOra this weekend, take a look at Greg's car - I think he has rear fogs. I have them also.

TX,

Can you program the LKM from US spec to Euro? I would like to get that done on mine.

There's a pdf at Wuffer.net and E31faq That's helpful also.

This fourm is very helpful but not the most imformative by far when it comes to the E31! Sorry to let you know this but the knowledgeable guy's here are from the "know it all" E31 fourm.
