I just purchases a Greddy TYPE RS Blow off Valve for my 2007 BMW 335i Coupe. I was told that I would need to change any of the stock piping on the vehicle but it doesn't seem that the charge pipes will fit with the universal mounting flange that I got with the blow off valve. Are there any recommendations from those of you who have performed this work? I need help figuring this out thanks.

To be honest almost EVERYTHING I have read recommends sticking with the stock BOV's simply because people have had trouble mating them and then running them. I know this doesn't help your current problem much but I thought I'd give you fair warning before its too late :).

Did Greddy tell you it would work? I have a friend that works there and he never said or told me any parts worked on my car...nor they were looking into doing them.

The 335 does not have BOV's stock, it has diverter valves that redirect blow off into the intake pre-turbo. Yes some have had problems if they don't get a perfect seal with the new BOV flanges.
The only BOV kits I know of that are made specifically for the 335 are AA, cp-e, titek, and UR makes a kit to use HKS or Tial BOVs.

edit: btw, there is also an upgrade to the stock DVs out there as well, and many people have had good experience with them. I am even thinking of getting them myself soon.

BOV BPV are pretty much interchangeable. And the argument of what it does to the AF by changing it probably can be searched to death... NO production car technically has a BOV from the factory. That's why they sell annoying aftermarket ones.

Sorry I should have been more specific. With many vehicles (not sure about this one in particular) problems arise when you lose air (through a BOV) that has already been calculated by the system (and is then reintroducted back into the intake ducting).

With our engine this isn't an issue. Our engine uses a MAP sensor to calculate air mass vs. a MAF sensor (like is used in EVOs).
