I have just about had it with the car, and decided I will spend the time and money to get it to the condition that I want it to be in....so I took it to the shop and found a few quick fixes:

1) I have a low end knocking on the engine, despite routine maintenance and even flash tuning. checked the shims and valve clearances, and everything was within spec of .014 +/- .005. the mechanic really took care of the car, and discovered that it is the timing chain tensioner...it was dirty and could not move properly. Had it cleaned and problem solved.

2) Car vibrating during braking 100km/h and above. I thought it was because I did not bed in the pads and rotors properly when I got it, so i kept on doing it over and over again...Checked it and it turns out to be a bad ABS something...not sure what it is, but the mechanic is still working on it to see if it is something that needs cleaning only, or I need to replace a part.

3) The mechanic also noticed that the cars rear was pulling slightly more on to the right...he suggested adjustment of the LSD...it was done, together with tranny fluid change, and diff fluid change...haven't driven it, but I was told there is improvement

Bought a few bushings, and reinforcement kits, and will bring the car in for that...and have it re-flashed as a result of the proper timing chain tensioner operation (we de-tuned the low end, thinking it was fuel knock)...looking forward to the cars performance when this is all done.

Bushings I plan to change are:

4 Axle Carrier, 3 Diff Bushings, Tranny Bushings...

RTAB, LCAB, RSM done when I bought the car last year.

This car is really a love-hate relationship...there are times when you just love the car, and times when you hate the little things that are not perfect with it!

anyway, just sharing...

I second that!
