they are normal chromer.. but you can spray them pretty easy...

Can anyone say definitively whether the '00 steering wheel will fit an E36? Also, JB, if you don't mind, could you take pics of the E36 wheel and the E46 wheel side by side while standing them on end so that I can see how thick each airbag assembly is. Just put them on a table and take a picture looking across the table.

Don't worry about taking those pics. I already found out most of what I need to know. I sent you a PM a while back. So the last question I have is this: is the E36 steering wheel larger in diameter than the E46 wheel?
