For years people have struggled with how to hook up the PnP harness on DEPO, DJ Auto, Apexcone and ZKW. Sometimes companies like DEPO wire them wrong on purpose compared to the ZKW/Bosch/Hella standard. And sometimes they mess up the wiring by accident that they messed up on purpose. The result has been that the end user is left puzzling to figure out the wiring for their lights with little more than FAQs and help on the forums.

One suggestion has been to put a wiring diagram in the box with all the lights. There are two issues with that. First, the wiring isn't always per the drawing. Second, you will probably need the wiring diagram in the future and you will have lost the drawing.

So, we figured, why not put the drawing on the light where you need it? So we've added the following sticker to all lights we ship and we fill in the correct wiring diagram for each individual light to match how we tested it good on shipment.

We put this sticker on the bottom of the light and assuming you keep your underpanels in good shape, the sticker should remain there indefinitely. We couldn't find a good place to put it on the back of the light where it wouldn't get damaged by washing your motor, etc. In any case, you should be able to install your PnP harness on your lights before installation and get it right the first time. Please look at each light. Sometimes there are mistakes in the wiring and the left and right wiring may not match.

Apexcone/DDM Tuning will be making further improvements to this problem in the very near future. We'll make another announcement when we can help this even more. Click the thumbnail for a larger image.

Nice improvement. This probably would have saved me at least 45 minutes. As it is, my right side is working perfectly but when I wired the driver's side the same way, there were issues. So I now have the driver's side angel eyes working correctly as well as the low beam HIDS. However, the turn signals blink out of sequence with the side marker and the high beam is very dim compared to the right side.

Oh, and I have low beam failure, which wouldn't have been a problem if the OBC LBF eliminators which I'd paid for had made their way into my package.

Error code eliminators were temporarily out of stock. We got them back in stock yesterday and have been sending them out pretty aggressively on orders that were shipped without them.

Send me your name by email to jim.apx@gmail.com and I'll make sure they get packed up tomorrow if they aren't already on their way to you.

I can help you with the rest of the issues too. We aren't perfect. But we're trying to improve things daily in our operations and in making things work better for our customers in the future.

Way to go that extra mile! I truly respect that about your company. I personally will not settle for anything but a set of ZKW headlights for my E36er, but rest assured they'll be bought through you guys. :)
