I'm with you. It does look to be in more than excellent condition, but given the miles, I could get an e34 M5 with the same or less miles for less money.

Damn, I was all excited to come look at it until I saw the price. Just an FYI, I looked at a '98 540i6 in great shape with less miles for $9500 a few months back...

No one is getting upset, we're just surprised at the ludicrous amount you're asking. If you look it up, similar cars are going for 6k, and it's not like you have low miles or anything. I spent a bit of time looking for 540i/6s in the past that the only ones worth that much are the msport edition. If you have that, then i apologise, but otherwise, it's a bit of a stretch. I guess what I'm saying is that when you offer 15k, people aren't going to think that offeing 8k is going to even be considered. But that's about what a car like this in excellent condition would cost. Good luck with your sale though.

Yes your right i wouldn't take 8, The car is most definitely worth more then that to the right buyer. If you knew what has gone into this car to make it perfect and the rarity of the color combo maybe you would think a little differently. You can have your opinion though, but I really don't understand why it really seems to get people worked up that i have it listed for 15K. Big deal its my sale and if i get 15 for it that will be great for other 540 owners that are thinking of selling there cars as well.

i hope u get 15000, i bought my 540/6 2 months ago for 5200 with 110,000 in perfect condition so that means i at least double my money, i dont think color combos add that much to the price of the car, maybe a thousand extra for the right person, ive seen u talk several times about how someone offered u 15000, id track him down again. Also ive had a 911 targa, they don't compare to the 540/6 in my opinion.

OP being a car dealer I'm sure you are aware of how the market will dictate what the car is worth and not your personal beliefs. Be prepared to sit on that car for several months to a year at that price point. Other than the upgraded suspension, Dinan goodies, and wheels, everything else you listed on the Cars.com page were maintenanace items. While the upgrades are very nice they only really a few hundred to the overall value. Everyone that has posted here does like the car, just what your asking is off the scale of reason.

Brother picked up this 2 1/2 years ago for 10500 only 90k on the clock.

No it has Lsd. I am trying to get 11 for it as of now. No one seems to understand what obo means.
