Paint is original and does have stone chips but has been fully deatiled and has a really deep shine. All of the panels have the correct stamps and there are no Dings . The wheels are brand new but the tires I had on a previous set of wheels, they are a matching set of Pirreli P-Zero Rosso's 265/35, 225/40 in front and are about 50%.

I have hundres of pics of this car if there is something that you wanted to see just ask.

The Interior has been restored, the seats were removed ( they were in excelent shape) so they only need to be leatheriqued and refitted. The headlining and rear shelf have been refinished in Microsude that looks like alcantara.

I am looking for $16,500 as a starting point.

i have an absolutely pristine euro m535 that i'm looking to trade for an e34 M5--- car has a fresh top end (and i mean just picked it up from marc norris @ bavarian workshop this afternoon) w/ a set of stahl headers, a 284 webcam, all paperwork, billie sports, h&r's, staggered 8&9 style 32's, the whole 9 yds. aside from a few rock chips, i'ts pretty goddamn close to perfect and extremely rare, especially in this condition:D Let me know if it's something you might be interested in, and i'll give you the full rundown--

Probably no real interest because you're still high. Not sure what the low ball offers are but they were probably closer to the real value of around $10-11k... You get closer to that and I'm sure you'll have plenty of people willing to buy...just my opinion based on what I've seen comps sell for and what I would pay. No disrespect intended as you have the complete right to ask whatever you want.

When I have complete history I mean it. You can track everything that this car has ever had done to it. I have 3 original keys for the car. I have all of the books and leaflets, I have the original welcome cassette, I have the cargo nets even the original Invoice and Paper plates. This is a real well documented rust free Californian car.

Hopefully it finds a nice home. Don't get too caught up on comps. This car appears to be well-taken care of and the price difference between say a $10k car and this one can be gobbled up in one visit to the shop with a neglected car.

$11k ? .... gas is $4 a gal...V8

V8? If you're making a offer and think this car has a V8, then you need to find something a little more pedestrian.

You really should know what you're buying before making an offer.

When one wants to buy an M5 and then worries about the price of gas, that worries me.

No clue!

Also, commenting on someone else's asking price is a big NO NO.

Keep your opinion for yourself; I can do my own research and see what this car is worth.
The seller can ask whatever he/she wants. If you think it's too much, then move on.
