Only thing I've seen before is the rear storage bin, that has an AC vent that blows into it. Cold sandwich and drinks on a hot day!

I'm pretty sure that switch is the headlight dipping adjuster. I guess it allows you to adjust the vertical on the headlights.

Not here in Sweden. So you can´t say that it is mandatory for cars here in europe.
