Hey guys ... I have a 02 325xi .. at the very end of last summer (literally the last nice day) my sunroof got stuck trying to close and just stopped mid stream ... So i searched the board found the emergency close procedures (the crank) and closed it for the winter... It is finally starting to warm up so I am trying to fix it ... the clips for the shade seem fine...

when I push the switch back to slide the roof it makes a single click noise that sounds like it is coming from under the removable switch panel ... I open the panel up and it sounds like it tries to open but immediately hits the autoreverse close and therefore ... 1click ... no movement ...

Any ideas on how to diagnose this ...?

Thanks everyone in advance for the help ... I am moving to Florida from PA in like 3 months and am gonna want the sunroof there, ... wanna DIY this if possible to save cash to buy a nice set of Konig 18's since I will finally live somewhere with roads that don't kill rims ... ( I am gonna miss winding mountain roads though) ...
