There is a BMW Club In Ottawa. I don't know how big or active it is but they are having a spring cruise in May to Kingston.

Hi everyone. Doug and I (Mike) are firming up plans for the Spring Drive. We will likely RV at the Tim Hortons in Stittsville for 8:30am and depart 9:00am. Route maps and further instructions will be handed out there. We will go to Perth via a route still to be determined. I've checked out 1 possible but want to check another. Doug has a route from Perth to Kingston and it should be tremendous. We will then take the ferry to Wolfe Island where we will have lunch at the General Wolfe Hotel (circ 1860). Their opening page on their web site shows where we will be going. We should have reserved parking and they have a good "light lunch" menu (not the menu shown on their site).
We will need to know how many people will be coming so please tell me if you are coming. indicate this to me at skyskirun@hotmail.com. Indicate 1st name, last initial, car year, make, model and colour, ie: Mike R, 89 BMW 325iX, red.
This promises to be a very special Spring Drive and we look forward to seeing many people.
As always, new BMW owners are welcome as are those considering to buy one. Prospective owners have the chance to see many different models and talk to their owners.

Hi everyone: only 8 days until the Spring Drive so we're not far away. Please let me know as soon as reasonably possible if you intend on coming. I would like to let the Hotel know how many of us to expect.
I'll have maps for everyone indicating our route to Wolfe Island. The return to Ottawa will be on an individual basis. Often, people organize themselves into groups of 2 or 3 and go back together. Recommend bringing a map of Ontario; there are numerous options for a return route. #1. Hyway 15 and 7 are the most direct and simple but (#2.) the 1000 Island Parkway starts just east of Gananoque and goes near Brockville and right onto the 401. From there its easy & quick, 401, 416 and home. A third option is ferry into the USA at Cape Vincent then 1000 Is bridge back to Canada. If you take this route and for anyone really interested, I can show you how to get to Heart Island (Boldt Castle) and back for free (it costs to see the castle but I can get you there

KINGSTON is a wicked run if youre going from OTTAWA. OTTAWA loud and proud here :D
