Any time you need bearings you'd really be best to have a shop measure them all for you. They can tell you what you need. What the book says is whatever is was new from the factory. Also, you need to do the same for the rod bearings. I wouldn't DREAM of replacing the mains without replacing the rod bearings too. Lastly make darn sure your oil pump is working top notch. As long as you've got the bottom end open you DONT want to risk going in there again. Trust me. I know!!! .... Get some "assembly lube" and grease them bearings up real well. Also don't forget to use Plastigauge when installing the bearings too. Also, bearings run in sizes from "standard" to "-.025" to "-.050" to "+.025" to +.050" but you probably already know this. Just know that the bore and the crank measurements together determine the bearings you need. Are you replacing the rings too or do you just have the bottom end open?
