Well after a months wait I finally got my tow hook cover. I still don't know how it came off. After snapping the new one it it would seem really hard to get off. Anyone else have this problem on the coupe?

I had a 2003 Audi A4 3.0 Quattro that the tow hook cover would sometimes come off when taken through an automated car wash. It was really hard to get off too, but it still would happen about 1 out of 5 times.

It hasn't happened on my new 08 335i coupe yet.

to think about it I believe i noticed it after my car wash.

I lost the little cover that goes over the headlight washer hole. Not sure how that happened either??? Expensive little piece after paint and everything!

I feel like we've had numerous clients lose e90 tow hook covers. I feel like part of it may be they don't have that tether cord like previous models.

That's a great idea about the tether hook. I should make one for mine as I doubt my dealer will cover me if I lose another one. I hear its only $10 for the cover but about $70 to it painted.

I did one last week and I want to say the part + paint was about $50
