i would use the tire guide but my spreadsheet program isnt working.

so i just picked up some style 30 e36 16x7 wheels and i put the wheel on and it bolts up but does touch... sooo whats the highest offset i can run on my car?? i can get hubcentric wheel spacers but at 10mm it would still be 36mm offset.

help please:help

E28 needs around a 20mm offset.

Yup, you will need spacers for those e36 wheels.

i know i will need spacers but i dont want to get spacers any bigger then i need. i think 10mm will clear because right now i can bolt the wheel up but it hits the tie rod end. i havent checked the back yet. i could get up to 18mm hubcentric spacers but id rather not.

Even if 10mm clears, it's gonna look awkward as hell. Your car is gonna look like a sofa on some coasters ... thats how far under the car they'll be.

Now that's a new image for sunken offsets! I agree with slocar that 10mm will not look good, even if it "fits". I would be shooting for close to ET20 as mentioned. My 17x8s are ET22 and I wish they were a little lower offset. Either get ~20mm spacers or sell the wheels.
