Do you like our Apexcone and DEPO Package Deals? (http://www.ddmtuning.com/packagedeals.html) How would you like to receive deep discounts like this on everything we have in our system? Join our DDM Wholesale Club and start paying wholesale today on every product we carry.

How Does It Work?
Unlike most buying clubs, we don't expect you to buy multiple products or spend a lot of money. Just register with us, pay your membership fee and begin saving money immediately. But we don't stop there. SIgn up for the club and we will immediately put your entire fee into your account as a credit. So joining up is basically free on your first purchase.

Show Me
Ok, here's an example. When you join the DDM Wholesale Club, you register your vehicle with us and you can buy as many products as you wish for that car for an entire year at wholesale pricing. We limit you to the number of those items that will fit on your car. For instance, you can only use one shift knob, so you can only buy one shift knob. If you have multiple cars, you register multiple times. Its as simple as that. All you want to buy for your car for a year and we give you your membership fee back as a credit immediately.

Club Benefits
Wholesale pricing on ALL products we carry
Front of The line shipping priority
Entire membership fee credited back to your account
Special email newsletter
Unannounced specials and first look at inventory clearance items
Access to our product partners at OUR wholesale prices
Special unpublished number into dedicated service specialists to handle your parts searches

Which Products Are Included?
Almost everything. Some package pricing is already at wholesale. We will mark those items with the DDM Wholesale Logo wherever they are listed in the website so you know which items we are showcasing at member pricing. After all, how can we attract new members if we donh't show the public some examples of the pricing they can receive through our Club? But you can still use your membership fee credit towards even these items and your year of savings is still ahead of you.

DDM HID, Apexcone HID, DEPO Headlights, Taillights, LED Taillights, Corner Lights, Sidemarkers, Halogen Bulbs, Suspensions, Bumpers, Moldings, Brakes, Interior Accessories, Carbon Fiber, Short Shifters, Software Upgrades, Pulleys, Cold Air Intakes, etc, etc. What can't we get you would be a better question. Everything not already at wholesale pricing is eligible and we will give you OUR pricing on anything you have us locate for you.

I was looking on your website and saw this annoucement. Here's what I don't get -

When you buy the membership, the membership cost is basically stored as store credit? For example - if I buy the membership for $50, and then order the Apexcone headlight package for $100, I'll just pay the remainder $50 (after $50 from membership cost credit)? If so, wouldn't anyone who's ready to buy something from your website pretty much just automatically enroll?

Kind of scratching my head here...it seems like all the incentives are for the customers, and you end up selling your products at lower prices?

That's crazy enough it just might work...

That's what I was wondering too..

When I first read it, I thought the membership fee did not count as a credit. Even then, I thought it might be worth paying because I eventually plan on picking up other accessorites (shift knobs, gauge rings, etc) and maybe the savings will offset the cost. Kind of like paying the costco membership.

But then I read it's a credit...and it really didn't make sense. Did Jim REALLY go insane? I mean some of the older deals have been pretty nuts (I was THIS close to buying HIDs and headlights like a bajillion times this past year with all of his deals) but this one is definitely on the insane side.

you must understand the marketing and pricing on what they are doing. I wont go indepth but they are doing things crazy. Jim, you okay bud? But yeah, they are doing things in this industry that you have never seen and they will succeed with doing these things. Great job Jim.

Well there's a reason for that. First and foremost is that we are really, not kidding, really, going to give you wholesale. This means that if I publish wholesale pricing for all the parts, then our competition knows what everything costs our retailers and they get some value from that knowledge.

Second, we figure that this deal will puzzle enough people that we are going to need to 'splain it personally.

And third (and my favorite reason) is that Leif and the sales team go to great lengths to pick on me everyday. Watching them answer phones with both hands just makes me smile :)

This actually makes perfect sense from Jim's perspective. By paying the $50 to become a member, you are telling Jim that you are going to be a repeat customer. By telling him you will "be back" he is willing to lower his prices to boost sales. Worst thing that happens is that you don't buy from him again, but thats no skin off his back.

Smart man.

We will get there eventually. If I ever leave the site and the deals alone for 2 weeks at a time, I just might have time to get a programmer to make us a new site. But then again, while our site isn't the spiffiest on the internet, our prices are killer and our service is friendly and all of our associates are BMW owners and hobbyists.

I'd rather spend the money on good people and hold prices low than to have some of the fancy features. I'm sure the day is coming though.

Many people have signed up. I just did some checking. The average savings has been $42.00 IN ADDITION to the $50 membership fee coming off the balance.

Members are saving an AVERAGE of $92.00 per order!

Here's how it works:

You pay $50.00 We immediately put the $50 on your account as a pending credit to be used to pay for your order. Then we discount all the items on your order to wholesale level. Your overall order is no longer a retail order, its a wholesale order. Then we deduct the $50 off the balance you paid for your membership.

Astounding!!!

On your site, you list a Bilstein/H&R package, but not the shocks and springs separately. Would I be able to purchase just the Bilsteins, or just the H&R springs? And if so, are they available at wholesale pricing? Thanks,

jsp98m3

Unfortunately, that's not possible yet. It would be great. But generally, wholesale pricing is usually a closely kept secret.

The best I can do for you until we get a separate, secure, website setup, we'll have to just work on the promise that you will like the prices you get when you call in.

If you don't like the deal, membership is just another product. Any person can get refunded the remaining balance of their membership at anytime throughout the year. As a product, like any other, DDM Wholesale Club membership has a warranty and your purchase is refundable any time.

We obviously aren't using membership fees as a source of income. We put a value on it to give customers a sense of investment in the product, us. We want people checking their purchase with us and we want people invested in MAKING us a better vendor.

All of you may have an opinion on the value DDM Tuning brings to the marketplace. Our hope is that as an investor in our success, so to speak, you all will work to make us a better vendor.

At least, that's the plan. And as a reward to everyone that joins us on this, everybody gets to save a bunch of money.

Give us a call tomorrow. You need to register your car. Also, until we can get all of our partner vendors wholesale pricing updated, we need to check our best pricing from various sources on suspensions. Therefore, we want you to call in for pricing quotes. Don't worry, its worth it.

Until then, if you make a purchase online after joining, just call us or drop us an email. We'll call you back, give you your updated pricing, refund any overcharge or refund your DDM Wholesale Club membership fee if we can't make you a great deal.

Can you call in on Monday? We are closed on weekends. Sometimes we are there, but its mostly to catch up, clean up and get ready for something coming up.

Yesterday was an example. Leif and Bobby came in for awhile and pumped out a lot of orders that were pending. They have to get ready for the arrival of two more containers full of bumpers and more DEPO stuff.

For my part, I'm hitting the airport today. This next week is the AMPA show in Taiwan. Lots of meetings and of course lots of stuff to see, lots of products to make better and move to the next level. We have meetings with some new distributors that have decided to go with us rather than some other vendors they used to deal with. It seems we're nice to deal with, buy all their inventory and pay on time. Distributors really, really like it when you buy up all their inventory and stock it at your own location and don't ask them to become your mailroom for you.

So, I'll be out of the office for a few days. Marcus will be returning from vacation Monday too. He was on spring break. Hopefully he got a bunch of tattoos and is on Boys, Acting Like, Girls Gone Wild or some other videos :)

Hey Jim. I got a quote from you guys on some of the things I am interested in for my car, but the prices don't seem very competitive at all. For instance, a brakes package from ddm wholesale is for E36 M:

Brembo $250 fronts, $242 rears, Axiss fronts: $90 Rears $57. = $639

importrp sells the same package for $280. Including the non-stainless lines and sensors.

Several other things, like suspension components are all priced at the same levels as the non- wholesale prices.

Yes, we will have our pricing revisions up on or about Memorial Day with some other web surprises.

I'm probably not coming into the office the rest of the week to get this finished up. I've been delayed because of the crush of work related to massive headlight package sales.

Suspension pricing will be coming down in stages. First, we will be lowering our standard pricing. Then we will be introducing some new stuff. I have some agreements in place with Industry Standard manufacturers for some private labelling that will be immediately recognizeable. As soon as we have the inventory in stock, I'll start announcing availability and pricing.
